Rose Street Red
An Irish Red Ale. Specially roasted malts gives this beer a gorgeous red hue—not unlike the warm red hues of the walls of our beautiful building here on Rose Street. Lightly hopped, our Rose Street Red makes for an excellent session beer.
Dry Irish Stout - Nitro
Black as a moonless night, our Irish Stout is built around light, pale Pilsner malt. Its darkness comes from a small portion of highly roasted “Chocolate Wheat” malt—a little goes a long way. Not “heavy” in body, our Stout is nitrogenated for an extra silky smoothness. Give it a try!
Memories of Koln Kolsch
Sometimes referred to as a “hybrid beer,” it is not. It is an ale, however one which uses a strain of yeast that has the floral attributes associated with ales while it also finishes clean and crisp on the palette—like a lager. An easy drinking classic beer style.
Dunkelweizen
In the late 1500s, Germany passed a law allowing only nobility to brew wheat beer. Consider yourself noble! This specialty Bavarian deep copper wheat beer sports subtle roasted malts with hints of caramel, banana, and cloves. Its velvet soft finish will leave you wanting more!
Straight A's IPA
Whether you are a student at Pitt State (of legal age, of course) or a “student of life,” when your mom calls and asks what you are up to, you don’t want to answer, “I’m out drinking with friends.” Our recommendation? Tell her the truth. Answer, “Actually, right now I’m working on Straight A’s!”!
Premium Pils
Many pilsners are elegantly executed, simple beers. Our Premium Pils is no exception. We added small doses of other grains to Pilsen malt to enhance head retention and round out the body. We’ve stuck with noble hops for a clean, crisp and gentle bittering balance. Simple? Yes. Simply delicious? Yes, too!
Drop the H Pale Ale - Nitro
What would our rich, amber-hued Pale Ale be like if it were nitrogenated? Let’s find out! We’ve taken our eponymous ale and nitrogenated it. Can a pale ale be both hoppy and smooth? Try it and decide for yourself!
Pitt 150 Pilsner
Brewed to commemorate Pittsburg’s 150th anniversary, the Pitt 150 Pilsner pairs a traditional, “old world” malt grain bill with “new world” hops—specifically Citra and Mosaic. The result is an exceptional lager, one that is light in body and yet full of flavor. Enjoy!
